Zum Inhalt des Vortrags

Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) is an XML-based, end-to-end architecture for authoring, producing, and delivering technical information. IBM first published the architecture in 2000. In 2004, IBM contributed DITA to the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS). The architecture is now the standard method used for producing documentation deliverables at IBM. This presentation introduces DITA and its benefits. It then describes how DITA was implemented in a project at IBM. Finally, the presentation takes a look at some of the future directions of DITA at IBM.
